This is a companion post to A Well Played Field Day. Check it out for more great Field Day resources.
Setup
- Large trash cans (full of water) are the starting point.
- Place cones 10-15 yards from trash cans (closer for younger grades)
Game Play
First player up dips the sweatpants into the bucket completely drenching them. Then puts them on and runs around the cone and back. Takes the pants off and hands them to the next player who also dunks the pants and puts them on. And so on till the last player on the team makes it back.
Safety: Make sure they're holding the sweatpants up so they don't trip
*Some have found that it's more fun just to wear the sweatpants around the neck like a scarf, which gives faster transitions.
